Tears (After John Keats) Poem by Meng Lim Dr

Tears (After John Keats)

Often my tears aren't enough
they wish to say much more
I've travelled through the rough and tough
my lifelong companion has been sorrow-

this my prayer: may love some day engulf
my fading heart- may tomorrow
every regret and suffering it appears to starve
as the path of healing I humbly follow
