Tears For Smiles Poem by Milton Sousa

Tears For Smiles

What if we all melt
would we become juice
water
or wine?

Sing me a song
like a lullaby
I'll lie and say I like
dance with me
hit me, kiss me
one last time.

No smiles, no cries
nobody cares
nobody tries.

If only I could
would you?
If not
why do you?

This will be the end of me
I miss you
can't you see
I'm walking nowhere
come to my dream tonight
this is my invite
these words have no meaning
If you're not by my side
hope you can find a way
so I can taste the reality
one more time.
