I have tears for you tonight,
as darkness dims all hope for your reprise.
Nothing more have I to give,
as it's sure that you'll not live,
to see darkness die upon another day.

The end nears for you tonight,
as thoughts for you support me through this blight.
Nothing more that I can say,
as no words will pass this day.
None can express my bitter, pleasant plight.

My heart sears for you tonight,
as thoughts of all we've done and known pass way.
Nothing more have I to live,
as it's sure that fate won't give,
to see your face upon the light of one more day.

I have fears for you tonight,
as your memory fades and soon, so goes the light.
My single hope - a glow remains,
as the mix of time and space your thoughts refrain.
For me, again - a bitter, pleasant plight.
