Pt.1: Death

Tears roll down His cheeks.

Her life begins to crumble
She trips and stumbles
She's haunted by her sin
She's tortured from within
He's betrayed, accused, and cursed

Her purity is stained
Her smile crushed by pain
Her friends all turn they're back
She hides behind a mask
He's whipped, beaten, and bruised

She's cast out by humanity
Her thoughts become insanity
Her love is suffocated
Her heart is drowning
His hands and feet are pierced

Tears roll down her cheeks
Nightmares rule her sleep
Walls are closing in
Death is seeping in
Blood pours from His side

And now He dies,
and now she lives

Pt.2: Life

He gives His life to her
He rescues her from death
He pulls her from the grave
He fills her lungs with breath

He saves her souls from hell
He breaks off her chains
He cleanses her heart
He erases her stains

He opens up her eyes
For the first time she sees
The mask falls from her face
She now stands to her feet
She gives Him her heart
She dances for His majesty
She's warmed in His embrace
Her laughter flows free
Her love is found in Him
Her life is filled with peace

Tears roll down His cheeks
With joy, His eyes now blur
For He fought the very gates of hell
And turned back death for her
