Technicality
How would a character passing through a lavatory door
affect the probability of 1984;
would passage through make the rest
more likely or less?
The rest would not have been the rest as we know it;
it would not have been '84,
if a character could pass through a door.
You can therefore safely say,
that it should be 'lavatory doorway'.
