i found no land on the earth
have you found any up there?
somewhere to settle
somewhere to walk on
where no one could trace our steps

i found no water in the sea
have you found any down there?
something tasteless
so i could flavor it with my prose
something shapeless
so i could shape it with my thoughts

even if you found them, what i desire, tell no one, not even me
when things are found, they'd gone
