Tell People How You Really Feel Poem by Ray Hansell

Tell People How You Really Feel

Her memory still haunts me
Each and every night
What I did was so wrong
But at the time it seemed so right

I said, I didn’t need her
Or so it seemed
Now each night she’s the one
Who dominates my dreams

No matter how hard I try
That picture I can’t erase
I can still see the tears
As they rolled down her face

Now as I stand over her
I make the sign of the cross and pray
I wish so much I could tell her
That I’ll think of her each day
