The nature of temporary
Surrounding all there is to see
Keeps me from the best and the worst of
Objectivity
Protection from both false and the truth,
Why and the why not
The safety of tomorrow,
The fear of the day after
With or without faith,
The burden of having to figure
All that out
Where the pain gets a bit of remedy
The nature of temporary.
