Sitting Bull, wise and strong,
United tribes, where they belong.
Fought for land, with courage bright,
At Little Bighorn, they won the fight.
Geronimo, brave and bold,
Apache stories, to be told.
Defended home, with all his might,
Against the soldiers, day and night.
Chief Joseph, with weary tread,
Led his people, filled with dread.
A long, hard journey, to be free,
'No more fighting, ' his plea.
Tecumseh, with words so clear,
Dreamed of a land, to hold dear.
Many tribes, to stand as one,
Against the settlers, their race begun.
Crazy Horse, a warrior's heart,
For Lakota life, he played his part.
Fought the army, brave and true,
Protecting all, for me and you.
Red Cloud, with wisdom's grace,
Won the war, in that place.
Treaty signed, on his terms,
Peace for his people, like winter warms.
Quanah Parker, chief so grand,
From war to peace, across the land.
Spoke for his people, with care,
On reservations, their rights to share.
Chief Seattle, with thoughtful eye,
Spoke of earth, beneath the sky.
Friend to settlers, with a plea,
Respect the land, for all to see.
Chief Pontiac, with mighty band,
Uprising spread, across the land.
Against the redcoats, they took a stand,
To keep their homes, with helping hand.
Black Hawk, a leader proud and keen,
Fought for lands, they'd always seen.
Sauk and Fox, with spirits high,
To reclaim their home, beneath the sky.
