Tenacity Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Tenacity

Persevere my friend deliverance is near
Just lay low and keep up the good work
Never one to shirk work
Endure pain and melancholy while you forbear

Like iron in high fire
Attains a shape so desired
Like sandalwood getting dissolved to exude
Fine perfume that brings out new fire

Keep on my friend
Never falter fear nor fret
The path is full of strife
But endure and at peace you will arrive

There are wetlands that you crave
Come on then, you can be brave
For heaven is in the distance and God does not forget
The wee things done for him he will never neglect

Purity will quench the Earthly fires
Of weak base things such as desire
A diamond is polished thus
You my friend are in need of the right thrust

There is hope for the world yet
Just you keep doing your very best
Up there in the heavens is a mighty notebook
It notes down in gold all the perseverance it took

The darkest hours are wiped away
With every golden ink I pray
Then you will emerge strong and bold
The old innocence of days of old

Wish you luck my friend carry on
No more in paths of sin tarry on
For heaven is in the distance
And God does not forget
