Tend To Me This Summers Night Poem by Darryn John Murphy

Tend To Me This Summers Night

Rating: 4.8

The heaven scent of wild flowers
Showers me like fallen rain
Sensual being before my sight
In your arms I am not the same
Hallow be thy loving name

Compare to thee this summers night
While we dance, beneath the moon tonight
Shall we walk in loves delight
As we hold each other tight

Roses whisper before your name
But you have blossomed beside the flame
Sensual being of exquisite fire
Spark the seed of my desire

Amidst the twilight I applaud
For it is you that I adore

For I will love you, forever more
While we dance beside the shore
Radiate within my sight
Tend to me this summers night
