Testament Poem by Darlan M Cunha

Testament

*
Being in full enjoyment of their mental faculties,
he says he wants maximum distance from the coroner -
something like this, with it situated at the 0º mark
and the coroner at the 180-degree mark,
because there's no greater distance inside a circle.
He wants distance from fear, from pain.
and the coroner with his cross-sections, his personal bubble
isolating him from the heat perhaps still possible between humans.
