Tethered
I was once tethered
Unable to fly
Until you came into my life
You released me
You set me free
You cut the chains that bound me
Just by loving me
I was once tethered
Unable to fly
Until you came back in my life
You showed me love
Trust and Friendship
You reminded me of who I was supposed to be.
I was once tethered
But now I've been set free.
