This Mystery - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

it is easier to say what it is
than to say what it really

it is easier to tell your friend
that a cat is not a dog
and that a dog is not a

it is easier to say that i am not
and you are not me

than to say who am i really

for i the self is like the deepest ocean
where i am the lone diver
and have not really gone
there myself.
