Her smile is soothing
Takes away all your pain
Makes you feel as if somehow
You have died and went to heaven

She is the closest to heaven that I ever been
She dries my tears
Comforts me, when the harsh winds
Blow and shatter my plans to pieces

Day after day,
When I see her,
I start thinking that I must be dreaming
So I pinch myself
Or push my keys deep into my skin
Until I almost scream
But this doesn’t seem to help
Because I never get up
