Thank You. - Poem by Cecilia Parkin

Oh God, whose power is infinite
and all embracing.
Thank you for stirring my awareness
to the beauty of your creation.
The rising hills in the distance
shrouded by the early morning mist.
The raindrops sparkling on the petals
of spring flowers.
The shaft of sunlight reaching into
a dark recess of a room.
The sound of birds as they
tweat and chatter to each other.
The warmth of a furry friend
as it nestles ever closer.
The sound of a loved voice,
the peace of a contented mind.

Please God, let us experience today
at least one of these many gifts
you make so freely available.

Amen. Cecilia, we should all be conscious of all that God provides for us, and be thankful. Nicely written. Sincerely Ernestine (Report) Reply
