Thank You Poem by Gunadi Widyanto

Thank You

I was a blind man until I met You.
The last piece of the puzzle I been
looking for. Hold me close and never let go.

Look there, I see candles, smokes, red
everywhere. The silence I never seen.
I was a blind man until I met You.

My senses are going blank in bed.
Wake up son, let the voice comes clean
dear. Hold me close and never let go.

Is this real? The voices I heard in bed
confess. Shed a new light I never seen
before. I was a blind man until I met You.

Thus I wonder why? This so much glad,
weird at first. My hands stop thinking, been
sleeping. Hold me close and never let go.

Smiling was not hard before I been bad
and cold. The voice comes very clean
every now and then. I was a blind man, You
hold me close and never, never let go.
