The Miracle Poem by Gunadi Widyanto

The Miracle

The sun goes down as the sky turning from blue to gray
and the overflowing fire once burns inside has fade away.
The blue and cold reality had been waiting at the bay
as it watches him with its frozen soulless eyes at play.

The wheel of fortune he once had, now turned just get in the way
and not so soon he realized that fortune has nothing to say.
The maze called confusion has made its way into his mind that day
as the woods and stones give him nothing but frailty decay.

The frigid superior called death has turned its face to the hollow tray
of his tired and broken heart as fear joined into the betray.
He takes up the pills for his own sanity if not, fainted will sway
and drag him along the way to the sacred ground of doubt all day.

The parasite called bitterness dragged him down to bed and stay
as he watches the white screen of light swings a blinding ray.
He drank the shocking reward and got drunk with a striking inlay
in the guitar that plays the mesmerizing melody of his fault anyway.

A dream of insights and an insightful of a dream has saved him one day.
Father has told him and crushed him with warm anger of the bay
before he went too far away into the theatrical faithfulness at fray
and showed him the bridge to Eternity called love and forgiveness, say

He got a plan for him, changing the flat lines into joyous bliss.
The fire is burning once again, brimming with spirit to live in Peace.
