Thank You Poem by Felix Lugo

Thank You

You made me feel happy when I felt sad.
When I wanted to give up
you encouraged me to keep going.
I had my first kiss you and you were there
with me to talk about it.
I needed help with some homework,
and you were there to help me get it done.
My life was crushing into little pieces,
and you were there to help me recover.
I got my heart broken
and you were there to put a band aide on it.
You gave me words of advice and I used it.
Everyday of my life you were there
and still are helping me get through it.
Did I ever once say thank you? I think I didn’t.
So, I wanted to say I’m grateful for having you
and thank you.
