Thank You Holy Spirit

Thank you Holy Spirit
For the job that You have done
Convicting the world of sin and righteousness
And of judgement that is to come
You take the Word and bless it
To the saving of our soul
When we exercise believing faith
Praise God we are made whole

Although we may not see You
Your work is evidenced
In the innermost part of our being
As You make God's Word make sense
You ignite the flames of fire
That purges all our sin
When we repent and turn to God
Our spirits are considered twins

You raise my Hallelujah's
As joy bursts forth with praise
Forgiveness has a sweetness to it
And shall have all of my days
Lord Jesus has a lasting power
He lives! ...praise God... He lives!
The Holy Spirit quickens our hearts
With the authority that Jesus gives

So many times in the Bible
The Spirit has proved His worth
Drawing lost souls unto the Saviour
And revealing the second birth
And leading men by the Spirit of God
To do the Fathet's will
When Its results are evidenced
It gives my heart a thrill!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
