Thank You Johanna Poem by gabby sutherland

Thank You Johanna

i was once
a butterfly
and my wings
were silver
and blue.

i suffered
in the rain
i struggled
to remain
awake.

i had a life line
she saved me
w/o her, i'd be lost.

i was so hateful
i wanted to die
but i wanted revenge
i still do.

but now we're friends
and i'm ok
(kinda)
(but not really!)

thank you johanna
for rescuing me!
