That Dusty Road Poem by Roger Snow

That Dusty Road

Down that Dusty Road again?
No, I'm sorry, I won't be Traveling
that old Road my Friend

Woman left me
drained and scattered

To her, all that Glitters
is all that Mattered

Trials every mile of everyday
and come the night
gave her a darker sky
in which her Game to play

Not going down
that Dusty Road no more
not going to visit that Woman
there waiting to hurt me
that's for sure

Just may Sail beyond reach
find a way, , this ol' Soul
can heal on some Tropical Beach

Heading Southbound
out on the Sea

out to Aruba
where this childs heart needs
to find comfort, , , and just be

not going down
that dusty road, , , no more

Wasted in a way
that life seemed
so far away
left broken inside
killed all I was
damaged my pride

Not going down
Down that Dusy Road

Down that dusty road no more

Gonna write my story
Gonna tell my Tale
heartbreaker
put it up for sale

Gonna find release
gonna send this pain out
over the Seas

Then, , ,
gonna find
that keyboard playing lady
settle down into her breast
angels like her, , heal broken
hearts like mine, when
they've suffered the Test, , ,

As the notes within this song
carry my mind
all the way, , out there
into the Cosmic Serene, , , ,
just lay here, , enjoying the dream, , , ,

Not going down
down that Dusty Road..
not going down
that Dusty Road no more

Dusty's gonna have to find
another Man, to torment his
Heart and Mind, ,
while she steals his Soul

~~~~ Tale, and once told, , , you never go back down that Dusty Road ~~~
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a True Story for Both Dan and I, Both of us had just broke up with Bad Girlfriends,
Dan and I sat down at a Rainbow Gathering and sang the verses off the top of our heads, We both open source the song to Humanity.
Unknown to Dan and myself, his new Girlfriend had recorded us as we made this song up insitu. ergo, the lyrics were saved, we'd of never remembered them. it was spontaneous. I've allowed ther Copy Right to expire.
