That Girl Poem by dylan watt

That Girl

i'm thinking about that girl once more
i'm thinking about that girl i adore
she's the master of her own little universe
she needs no mans money shes got her own purse
though she needs a little fun
just a lil more laughter and some shining sun
no one can cause her harm
she's a goddess full of passion beauty and charm
not everyone sees her as she is in my eyes
some can't see threw there perfect world and their lies
but shes opened up a whole new way of life
introduced happiness and removed most of my strife
the sky is a deep clear blue these days
i've become a lot more happy and changed my ways
and its all because a ray of sunlight shone down on me
a ray so bright that there was nothing else i could see
no bad deeds no crimes no miss conceptions
no drugs no idiots no rigged elections
the world became a better place when i met her
would i do anything for her, oh yes sir
a little freedom and some time to think
she helped me get it all threw a special link
another person to tell all my thoughts
the good ones the bad ones all the sorts
but when it comes to the end
when shes in need and wants a friend
she knows as much as anyone
that ill take care of her happiness and fun
i got her back and shes got mine
we now know both our lives will be long happy and be all fine

Great poem! Finding that kind of connection with someone is difficult. Glad you found yours!
