That Life Is Not All Joy Poem by Francis Duggan

That Life Is Not All Joy

Rating: 5.0

That life is not all joy only true for to say
And for many often a new challenge it does seem this way
Life was not meant to be easy according to George Bernard Shaw
And some does know of this thing known as Murphy's Law
In life for some a new challenge to face every day
Suppose for life experience this is the price some must pay
Many children every day born into poor circumstance
To succeed in life they do stand little chance
Which makes the sons and daughters of the multi millionaires quite lucky indeed
But then suppose in life of luck one is in need
It is said that from life one receives what is their due
But in many cases this is not quite true
At least not for the millions of children born into poor circumstance
Who in life to succeed does stand little chance.

'this thing known as Murphy's Law' what can go wrong will go wrong, but sometimes with attention to detail planning good preparation, Murphy's Law seems to go away for a long time; life can be luck, right place right time or the opposite; environment the born with the silver or plastic spoon, but Terry's Law appreciates the times moments which went well and we excelled, attempts to leave the less pleasing experiences in dust cobwebs where they belong; yes we know life is not always joy but somehow I love the silver lining in grey cloud; nice thoughts Francis
