As I look back at our memories
I began to realize
Everyday was spent with darkness in your eyes

And when I said I loved you
You just breathed a sigh
And said “whatever” to remain sly

I poured out my heart to you
Hoping you would care
But you just pretended I wasn’t there.

Cuz you cared more about her
And getting over me
Than you cared to even see

That she tore our love apart
And strengthened all my fears
That month was a lifetime full of tears.
