THAT MORNING

That morning the sun could hardly wait to shine
Jesus stepped forth and the created shone on the face of its Creator
It was ablaze with glory as it lighted the whole world in its splendour
Here was He who said, “Let there be Light”.
Being the Light of the world Himself
Unrecognized by many as to who He was but
Recognized by all creation as it groaneth and travaileth until His coming day
His mission accomplished, the Father’s will was done
The message of Hope could now be proclaimed boldly
In that He was raised from the dead
In Him was life and this life was the light of men
Destroy this temple He said and in three days I will raises it
And raise it He did, He did indeed
His humbleness as Victor proved His title
Lord of Lords and King of Kings
His role as Prophet and Priest was attested to as well
He fulfilled what He had spoken and is as at the
Father’s right hand ever interceding for us
Hallelujah, what a Saviour
No boasting was necessary
His Risen Life said it all
He is Risen. He is Risen indeed!
