That night we made love to each other.
Love, in its truest, purest and fiercest form.
It was clearly evident,
How much we had missed each other,
Or, how much our bodies had craved for each others'.
Cravings of the most legitimate and oddest nature.
We, kissed, bit and licked each other.
The insatiable human tendencies of the crudest order.
Overwhelmed with desires, to see, to smell, to hear, to taste, to touch.
The desire to sense.
The desire to slip into eternal sleep with that kiss.
Desires that stemmed under the arms and ran deep into the navels.
Love melted into desires,
And desires melted into the night.
The creases on the bed covers stood witness.
Surely,
That night we made love to each other.
