That's My Life! Poem by Dana Amer

'Sweet', as a red ripe strawberry
& 'Smooth', as a well composed melody,
That's what I want my life to be
& this is what I wanna look back & see…

'Beautiful', like the shy pinkish sun
When it slowly fades until it's gone,
'Overwhelming', like a battle I hardly won
With no regrets of what I've done.

'Wild', just like doing what I can't bare
But 'Delicate', just like a touch from someone who cares,
'Tough', just like working while everyone is unfair
Yet still 'Soft', just like a cool breeze of air.

'Fun', with great friends sharing my day
'Cheerful', with no fears to ruin my today,
'Bumpy', 'Adventurous', 'Touchy'…… But..
For now I can simply say:

I wanna live my life & enjoy it in every possible way,
Before the day comes, when I can no longer stay!
