of the doors you opened
and locked, of your cunning
colleagues. You left me beyond.
Like a boring story,
like the theft of the hearts
of others. Beyond you.

ITALIAN TEXT: Per questo mi sognavi. Mi sognavi distesa come una donna prima dell’amplesso. Ero io l’amore? Ero io l’attesa? Ogni volta mi sentivi diversa ma mi chiamavi con lo stesso nome. Ero la tua cantina, la tua discesa. La tua vita, la tua morte, irrisolta. Così la mattina ti svegliavi in difesa della tua sorte. Del tuo mazzo di chiavi, delle porte che aprivi e chiudevi, dei tuoi scaltri colleghi. Mi lasciavi al di là. Come una storia noiosa, come il furto del cuore degli altri. Al di là di te. Come una cosa.
