That Spot You Missed - Poem by Marcellus Watts
They changed me
And showed me a new me
I liked what I saw
I never believed it myself…..
Someday I’ll show them
That they missed a spot, and left
One thing, a shattered broken
Piece, a small remnant of that childish old smile
Someday I’ll show you
You wanted to see it….you’ll see it
That spot you missed you’ll see
I can be different, will be different…….
I am who I am, you’ll see.
That spot you missed….watch me
