That Stranger Poem by mamutty CHOLA

That Stranger

THAT STANGER
I often would see a stranger daily on my evening walk
Sitting on the bank of the river all alone gazing at river's flow

It seems he had been through many ups and downs in life
His face was the index of his sufferings; under gone

He would keep watching the flow of the rivers in solitude
He would keep indulge in soliloquy looking at river's flow

Thought of talking to him and find out his reason for aloofness
Seeing me looking at him, he asked why I was so keen in him

He said his life had been saga of tragedy, misfortune and loneliness
He said life was like river's flow, never stopped like time

Change was only permanent rest all transient
What he said was a reality like sunlight

I came thinking those who fail to keep pace in life
Would find themselves thrown into oblivion

Come what may never lose hope and never give up
All difficult times are passing phase like river's flow

Neither time nor adversities are permanent
We all have to be positive in life and have trust in self.

Life ‘s principles are different, it tests you first and give lesson later
So invents capabilities like water not that of stones.
