The Adopted Poem
- By Raj Kashyap
De day we saw you,
Our eyes filled w/ Tears,
You've filled a void,
Emptied from years!
You are like sunshine,
And a charming boy,
You're sweet as corn,
& our bundle of joy!
The moment you sneak,
Across side window,
All of your charisma,
Helps de cheeks glow!
Time was hard for you,
I know, but it's ok,
All straps of pain,
Will soon be decay!
Cool toys are waiting,
For you, let's go,
Funky outfits are
Already in the queue!
You don't have same
Eyes as me, but it's
Fine, B/c I love you,
For being real you!
You may not have my,
Name, then what?
None can separate,
All of us at any cost!
I know, you feel a bit,
Uncomfortable, but
Soon it will all gone,
B/c life will respawn!
All of you need is,
Good prayer's shower,
B/c you're truly,
A baby of flowers!
My child, don't worry,
B/c I promise you,
That this is going,
To be de best story!
The Moment has arrived,
Which, took months,
We will be a family,
B/c you deserve better!
It is the clock to leave,
This foster dome, and
Head towards our own
Home Sweet Home!
