The All Of Me (Sonnet #198) Poem by Tina Baaklini

The All Of Me (Sonnet #198)

The all of me writes to the all of you
Love ballads never sung by troubadours
Love songs that start and end with only you
And these lines that deep from my heart I pour.

Your love revolutionised my whole being
My heart, embellished as never before
My soul, replenished as jasmins in spring
True love for the first time knocked at my door.

Your love raised me to the realm of purity
This world I forgo, with you I feel well
A love flame within our souls burns brightly
In Xanadu, where souls live, breathe and dwell.

Love was but a word I pondered about
Till you showed me how it transcends the clouds.
