The Ancient House Stands Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Ancient House Stands

The ancient house stands,
timeless, eternal,
a testament to the truth
that time itself never grows old.

Within these walls,
I have known laughter and tears,
moments fleeting, yet profound.
Here, I was born—
beneath its steadfast light,
its melodies strong and pure,
unwavering, everlasting.

No storm can weather it,
no years can crumble its grace;
age cannot weigh it down.

In this ancient house,
I hear whispers of the divine,
echoes of peace and love
woven into its being.
Its rooms cradle secrets,
stories untold—
of paradise found,
of paradise lost,
of life vast and infinite,
held within its embrace.
