I can hear the sound of the clarion
For the baby yet to be born
From his mother's holy womb.

He will appear soon on this earth
And we all will be happy with his birth
As a plant of hope will grow in every heart.

New dream with the new year
Will expand its petals like a flower
To spread its fragrance in the air.

The sun of peace, prosperity, joy
And love will rise and we will fly
In the unbound and fresh sky.

Everyone is now rejoicing
To welcome the new year 2017
Which will hopefully fulfil our dream.
