The Art Of Being Poem by A. Jayaprakash Jayaprakash Panicker

The Art Of Being

The art of being

This world without me
Is the very same world
That has me very much.
My world is just my being

‘I’ll be no more in this sphere’,
Is a thought that makes me feel
That I am in this very sphere.
I am what my thoughts are.

None of my ways is new
No day is different either,
Unless I can see the light.
I’m what my eyes show me.

All my deeds are my forms
I change myself doing them.
Things I don’t do don’t exist.
I simply exist because I do.

Just behind everything
There’s a simple reason
What’s behind one’s being
Is what’s before one’s being.

A world without you or me
Is no more different per se
It is we who make it differ.
Sadly though, same we are

Doesn’t it kill you to realize
That you’re once a ‘no more’?
If it does, what ever you are
Is what it actually is…bliss.

Blessed are all beings
It is simply bliss to be.
I feel like saying “no’
To everything that is.
