The Art Of Living Alone Poem by Asma Khan

The Art Of Living Alone

Who can see what the hearts bear
haste not for its time to
calm and retire in peace

Who can hear what the hearts whisper
sure not for its time to
listen and hear the pain leaving

Who can touch what the hearts hold
be ware not, for its time to
gather and gaze the light into your sight

Who can feel what the hearts deem
amaze not for its time to
arouse and astound the winds of change

Who can remember what the hearts affirm
mention not for its time to
witness and watch the past hovering away

Who can show what the hearts know
discover not for its time to
test and weigh waters rushing into life

Who can reach what the hearts hide
follow not for its time to
percieve and accept what the destiny brought

Who can give what the hearts wish
sell not for its time to
pray and appeal to your creator
