The Art Of Solitude Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

The Art Of Solitude

The quiet house, a gentle hum,
No waiting for someone to come.
My own space, a painted art,
A happy song within my heart.

No need to bend, no need to sway,
Just craft my life, come what may.
Adventures call, I hear them near,
No one to please, no doubt, no fear.

Friends are there, a shining band,
A helping voice, a steady hand.
My time is mine, to learn and grow,
To plant the seeds, and watch them sow.

My own dear self, I'll start to know,
With gentle care, I'll help me glow.
This sculpted path, a brand new start,
Joy found within my solitary heart.
