The Awful Truth Of Life Poem by Holmes Jim

The Awful Truth Of Life

Lives a long a fruitful life,
Whereas the tall proper tree,
May never see its teens,
So, which is best to be?
A wretched bent sapling,
Or the strong and steady seedling?
