The Baby's Cry Poem by Minh-Vien

The Baby's Cry

Rating: 3.0

A baby boy was born
In a maternity hospital
He cried before opening his eyes
To show that he's alive

A premature baby girl was born
In an intensive- care room
She cried before opening her eyes
To prove that she still survives

Billions of children were born
Like lambkins in different conditions
But all cried before opening their eyes
To accept uncertain eventful lives

No child was born with a laugh
Everyone was born with a cry
That symbolizes this earthy world's roughness
From the beginning of humankind
