The Bait Poem by Roger Snow

The Bait

Saw something, said it out
loud
She look mighty fine
and not at all too proud

hey, is that a kiss on that lip
in a smile?

may I have taste, maybe a few
for a while, ,

and when the shade came down
I turned to find my mind
spinning across the ground

a Kiss that knocked

well, , ,
you'd feel it better than I can say

woman with kiss like that
and also Built that way?

oh man, , leaves an impression
that's last you through
to the following day, , ,

Eternity maybe too, , ,

I ain't got that far just yet
But if asked, , , I'd say it was
a solid bet

Eyes that melt the shine of the Moon
ain't coming down from that Kiss
anytime soon, , ,

Bait and stick
and hell yeah,
I was stung
woman knows her trick
and the effects they have
on a Man, ,
yes indeed, , , she could have
just anyone, , ,

well that was then
and now for today
I'm my 30th year of seeking her
for to get myself another one, , , ~~~~~~~~~ Kiss from the Cosmos ~~~~~ left me Spun ~~~~
