The Ballerina And Mars Poem by jan hansen

The Ballerina And Mars

Swan Lake and Mars

I saw the old ballet dance
deep in her Alzheimer's illness
when they played Tarkovsky
swan dance
she moved her hands and body
her movement was beautiful
I say to you
You want to go to Mars
If you do not take the human
art along
your life will be void of meaning
