The Beauty That Is Poem by Marcus McKinley

The Beauty That Is

So many things life has become
And, so many times we take a moment
But, this time is a moment worthy of pause
A time to take notice of unveiled elegance
In the melting snows sun touched radiance
And every March before the ides
As sure as the migrant birds return
I Marcus bring thee a gift
To celebrate a goddess in festus
In respect, I bow and scrape
Offering my hand in terpsichore
Wishing you the best and more
Upon this special day
