The Beggar Poem by BIBHAKAR DUTTA

The Beggar

I am not a beggar
as you think.
I have no thrust
for your love.
I do not want to flatter (you) .
I have no intention to bluff.

In these days, I have learnt to scatter
the poesy style to sound better.
So, I pray to you, my God-
it's your wish
that I've got
to adorn my poetic plot.
I am a beggar.
Oh! my God.
Yes, I am...
I want to attach with the heavenly thoughts,
and I know a rich
can never reach
in the area of eminence
that only you holds;
and maintains its progress.
Please my God help me.
Help this beggar....
