the burning touch
of Heaven's fire
like molten gold
pouring out of the blackened sky
setting our world alight
we expected to
bask in all the glow
as the world was reborn for the better
and the flames purged all evil
from our fertile soil
but as the liquid fire
came into contact with our flesh
it burned like Hell
and we were all unable to escape
Jesus did not come down to greet us
with a host of Angels
at his Holy back
so we faced God's wrath alone
as Satan sat watching in the sky
our skin peeling back from our bones
he laughed and smiled and said
'i told you so.'

I would like to translate this poem
as Satan sat watching in the sky our skin peeling back from our bones.... he laughed @@@ The poem brings to fore the piercing realities of life with it's philosophical shades. Thanks.
