The Being And The Forest Poem by Evarrriste Aldous

The Being And The Forest

Rating: 5.0

In a forest unlike any terrain
upon a land in the vastness of time
arrives innocence packed in beauty
flowered as being and eager to find.

Those honest shadows that illuminate,
not veil,
the melody of the forest and the artist
whom first sang.

In a forest where frail animals end
where robust branches begin,
dirty leaves swim in a sea of wind,

The being is riddled with heavy
droplets of questions every waking night's
full moon,
why do the shadows lie?
why does the forest not sing?

A tune is born from nothing at all on the mind
of the one from the stars

'When you do, I will too.'

An amazing poet, seemingly coming into his own very recently. The images are rich, the subject matter is grand and lofty and the language is musical. Hoping to continue to see hopeful and inspirational works from this master of the art

My new favorite image of a questioning soul: a being riddled with heavy droplets of questions. Gorgeous!
