The Flower That Never Dies Poem by Evarrriste Aldous

The Flower That Never Dies

This flower that never dies,
nature somehow fights it in vain,
winded and unmoved,
destroyed and untouched,
it elevates eyebrows and contradictions all while
knowing its shadow shall dance where nature
conducts its bloody battles.

This flower that never dies,
its beauty is bulletproof,
its colors bathe in warm perfection at every angle's eyes,
no amount of rays can hide its mysterious beauty
in the dark of the late night breeze.

This flower that never dies,
is nature in disguise,
its only enemy itself,
until it uncovers all lies,
and blossoms at last into truth
hidden under layers and layers of stubborn pedals.

Once upon a time, there will be a flower that never dies.

Beautiful! Hopeful, inspiring, with images of haunting beauty. A flower that never dies by a poet who never lost hope.
