The Best Story
I'd be away from you physically,
And even the times I intentionally keep my distance,
You're still the feeling that takes me home,
The calming energy that sends my demons running.
I'm grateful for your existence,
Even more so that I met you,
I finally get why things unfold the way they do,
Because no better story would have been written.
