The Big I Am - Poem by Timothy Watson

I am what I am and that is it
a soul betrayed or complete shit
no other vests will ever fit
I am what I am and that is it

Don't think that I will ever change
my actions may be ever strange
intentions grand but crimes commit
I am what I am and that is it

If you can't accept the real in me
your passage blocked by hesitancy
to stay by half does not befit
I am what I am and that is it

I reveal enough for you to see
the best and worst, for that is me
You must decide to resist or flee
I am what I am and that is it

I am what I am and that is it
I am the whole and not one bit
to force my change would be to lie
though improvements due I can't deny

(may 98)

Every one has his/her uniqueness. There is no need to try to be what you are not, that's hypocrisy. Nice poem. Kindly read my poems and comment (Report) Reply
