The Big Test - Poem by shubhajeet jeeter

Tomorrow is the day we have a test
I had to beat all the rest
Stayed up studying more and more
I did not sleep, till almost 4

My eyes were almost shut, I was so tired
But I had to study, it was required
I know I needed to get an A
It’s the final test, that’s just the way

My books were all over the floor
The time was now 12 past 4
I think now I am done
I read the books, each one

I could now finally get some rest
I was still very stressed
The time for the test will soon be here
My worries would then disappear

The test had finally come
My hands felt very numb
I was so prepared
I was still a little scared

Soon the teacher had to say
That today, we had to hand in an essay
Now what do I do
I really had no clue

I began to pray
I asked if we had a test today
“No, that’s berserk
Now give me your work”

My essay I forgot to do
I’m doomed, it’s so true
Wonder what mark I’m gonna get
Worse then a C, ill bet

I was barley awake
I made such a mistake
The test was next week
I couldn’t even speak

That day I got an R
It was so bizarre
I planed for an A
Didn’t work out that way
